4 stars because the food is definitely always good here. Kids sizes are basically a normal adult meal and adult meals are like big enough to feed 2-3 ppl. We did reservations online since it's always a long wait. The host seated us within minutes of us arriving and was super sweet. The inside of the restaurant was pretty dim and dark...and outside was ok looking. For the food service here, it was subpar after being seated and not like how we expected it to be given we had better service at the Vegas location. Thankfully our meals came out in a timely manner since we were able to make a quick decision upon being seated. We were rushed to make a decision on what to drink so that was a bit overwhelming. In the end, our server wasn't able to split our check because he was "too busy" and if we wanted it split, we'll have to wait 10-15 mins longer according to him even though we already identified what meal belonged to which check. We ended up just splitting the check 50/50 since our server was too inconvenience by our request. We didn't want to waste more time waiting for him. Probably won't be back to this location since parking wasn't the best and service after being seated wasn't great even though we enjoyed the food.

So we signed up for this, voluntarily. Zero complaints, but lots of observations. So here goes. 1. Excellent staff and service. 2. Food was very good although it's on the salty side for my taste. Some things VERY salty. If you're looking for a low sodium meal you won't find it here. 3. Portion size was seriously ridiculous- the platter my breakfast was served on could have held a small turkey. 4. Consider splitting entrees. Light eaters - 3-4 people could share just one entree. I'm not kidding. 5. Medium eaters, you'll take half your meal home with you. 6. Heavy eaters, (we had one with us) you'll eat 3/4 of your meal. I don't see how anyone could eat this much food. 7. I would LOVE if they served half sized entrees for normal eaters. 8. Prices - $24-$30 is the norm for breakfast entrees here. (Not including any drinks) 9. If you're drinking prepare to pay $75-$80 per person w tax / gratuity. It's expensive 10. My entrée had a huge biscuit halved, then griddle potatoes on the bottom then spinach on top of that - then grilled tomatoes on top of that - then fried chicken breast on top of that - then scrambled eggs on top of the chicken breast, then mozzarella cheese, that's grilled and browned on top of that - then chipotle cream on top of that - then stabbed with a rosemary spear. Would I go again? No I would not. Was the food and service great? Yes it was. For the person who eats a light or medium breakfast, you'll be more than embarrassed when your entree gets dropped in front of you and everyone around you starts staring. It's a gimmick, well done gimmick. And I'm sure lots of tourists love this place.

As a kid that grew up in Iowa, I know my pork tenderloin sandwiches. This place has the most legit pork tenderloin sandwich west of the Rockies. Big as a plate, this sandwich will last you two meals (as a tenderloin should). Breading was perfect and it was cooked just right. We also had Chicken Eggs Benedict which was delicious but a HUGE serving. If you like big servings, this is the place. If you like big flavors, this is the place. If you want something small, there are other places around for that. Come with an appetite and hopefully your hotel room has a refrigerator. Service was great and came with a smile.

I arrived 5 min before closing, they still let me in and served me. I order the Sage fried chicken waffle tower (a bit pricey I thought $27). Their serving is huge, 2 ppl can easily eat that, too much for one person. I didn't like that they loaded the waffles with syrup (maybe to coverup the taste?) I was happy with the food. I ate 1/3, took the rest to go. I would recommend to share the plates as they are on the larger side.

Can I give 17 stars? This place was amazing!!! Come with four empty stomachs or be ready to take home leftovers. Words fail to share just how delicious everything was - just go! Oh - we sat outside on the patio. Cozy and quaint. Service was amazingly attentive in spite of how busy they were. Can't wait to go again!

Wow! We looked up the #1 breakfast spot on Yelp...and I see why! This spot was great, the coffee was amazing!! I loved the food was great. I never thought of a chocolate cap n crunch pancake needed to be made but I'm glad I tried it and it was oddly good. Eggs bacon sausage, all good. The portions are huge. You could honestly split. Chris got the golden dome... The only complaint was that it was too much food. Hard to hold together as a sandwich but it was DELICIOUS! Jaylon went above and beyond! Next time I'm visit San Diego I'll definitely be back! Great spot, cool vibes, great food!

This place really lived up to all of the hype! Everything tasted amazing and you can tell a ton of thought went into every dish to make sure that there was flavor in every bite. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken and waffles tower - the chicken is fried perfectly and there are little pieces of bacon in the waffle which was really unique. It looks like this is their most popular dish too and it could probably serve 2-3 people.

I have been back here many a times over the years and the quality has started to vary. The only thing that I have found to be truly consistent is the Giddy Up coffee. Absolutely delicious every single time (and it comes in the prettiest glasses)! I decided to update my review to reflect the last time I was here. I didn't catch the name of the server, but she had red hair and she was absolutely amazing (details to follow). The last time I was here, my guy and I got the Andy's Sage Fried Chicken Benedict (was actually really good, but had a bit too much cheese. We got the chipotle cream on the side and it wasn't even necessary to add) and the Lemon Blackberry Baked French Toast (this looks beautiful, but tastes the opposite. Extremely wet/soggy and there was no blackberry flavor at all. Ended up sending it back). I told the server how amazingly fresh and delicious the fruit was (strawberries and watermelon) when I send back the french toast and she came back with a to-go container of extra fruit for me. It was the sweetest thing and it really made my day after having such a rough week at my job! I really wish I had caught her name, but I wanted to say thank you to her.

The wait on a Sunday morning at 11 am was about 15 minutes for 6 people. Breakfast and brunch on steroids here. The portions are ginormous and there's something for everyone. I got the tractor trailer combo and chose blueberry pecan pancake, eggs and roasted potatoes. The pancake was fluffy and the size of my head. The service was really good throughout the meal. Indoor and outdoor seating. TVs at the bar. Street parking only.
